Part I: Information Stockount Collects and Controls

  • Direct Collection: Information like name and contact details are collected during account sign-up, event registration, customer support requests, or purchases. Credit card information is securely stored only with user permission.
  • Automatic Collection: We log basic information such as site navigation and feature usage to improve services and develop new products.
  • Indirect Collection: Information from referral programs, authentication providers, and social media interactions may also be collected and used to fulfill user requests.

Part IV: Information that Stockount Processes on Your Behalf

  • Information Entrusted to Stockount and Purpose:
    • Information Provided in Connection with Services: You may entrust information that you or your organization ("you") control to Stockount when using our services or requesting technical support. This includes data about your customers and employees (if you are a controller) or data you hold and use on behalf of another person (if you are a processor). This data may be stored on our servers when you use our services or transferred to us as part of a request for technical support or other services.
    • Information from Mobile Devices: Some of our mobile applications may access your device’s camera, photo library, files, and other information, if you allow it. These applications need such access to provide their services. Location-based information may also be collected to help with locating nearby contacts or setting reminders. This information is shared only with our mapping providers for mapping user locations. You can disable mobile applications’ access to this information by changing the settings on your device. The data accessed by mobile applications is used within the context of the application and may be transferred to your account in our services or remain with you unless shared with us.
  • Ownership and Control of Your Service Data:
    • We recognize that you own your service data. We provide you complete control over your data by allowing you to:
      • Access your service data.
      • Share your service data through supported third-party integrations.
      • Request the export or deletion of your service data.
  • How We Use Service Data:
    • We process your service data based on your instructions through our services.
  • Push Notifications:
    • If you enable notifications on our desktop and mobile applications, we will send notifications through providers like Apple Push Notification Service, Google Cloud Messaging, or Windows Push Notification Services. You can manage your push notification preferences or deactivate these notifications in your application or device settings.
  • Who We Share Service Data With:
    • Stockount Group and Third-party Sub-processors: To provide services and technical support, we may share your data with other entities within the Stockount group and third parties.
    • Employees and Independent Contractors: We may give access to your service data to our employees and independent contractors to (i) identify and resolve errors, (ii) verify spam reports, or (iii) verify scanned images. Access is restricted, logged, and audited. Our employees also access data you share for technical support or to import data.
    • Collaborators and Other Users: Some services allow you to collaborate with others. Collaboration might let other users see some of your profile information, such as your name and profile picture next to your edits.
    • Third-party Integrations: If you enable third-party integrations, you may allow them to access your service data and personal information. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of these third parties before enabling integrations.
    • Other Cases: As described in Part III, we may share information under other circumstances.
  • Retention of Information:
    • We retain your data as long as your account is active. Once you terminate your account, your data will be deleted from the active database during the next clean-up cycle, which occurs every six months. Data deleted from the active database will be removed from backups after three months.
  • Data Subject Requests:
    • If you are in the European Economic Area and believe we store, use, or process your information on behalf of a customer, please contact the customer to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, or export your personal data. We will assist our customers in responding to these requests within a reasonable timeframe.
